Xieng Khouang is located in the Xiangkhouang Plateau, north-east of Laos. Originally known as Muang Phouan, the present capital of the province is Phonsavan. It is famous

to the world with its Plain of Jars, the mysterious 2500 years stone crafted jars which its

orginal usage is still debatable, and will be listing into UNESCO in 2018 as one of the 

ancient stone wonder.
